PVP Guide by Legion

First off make yourself a VIP for alteast the first week.  The extra upgrade slot is well worth the coins. In the begining use coins to buy resources.

Days 1-3

Priority 1.
Upgrade main building and warehouse.

The people will be the limiting factor in the begining. Also you need the warehouse space to put your resources you buy with coins in. I even like to speed Finish one or two main building upgrades in the begining. If you don't have enough people to start other upgrades then there is no point in speed finishing it so use your best judgment.

Priority 2

Upgrade your cranny.

There is lots of raiding in pvp so don't be a farm. Protect your resources. You have until protection ends before that's a problem but it takes time to upgrade. Be prepared.

Priority 3

Upgrade barracks and build troops upgrade crops resources.

By time day three comes and protection is over you will need an army to farm forts and start fighting.

Misc tips.
The only resources you need to worry much about at first is crops to support your army. As you build troops upgrade crops to keep a near even crop consumtion. After I get my crops to lv 5 or 6 I enhance my crops. It makes a huge difference.

When you do run negitive crops keep this in mind. Pvp is full of oasis stealing. To depend on crop oasis is a risk. If your oasis are taken and your city farmed by a lv10 cranny breaker, and you have a lv 20 cranny. You will be left with 50k crops. Keep an army that will not starve on 50k crops for the longest possible time you will be away from your game. (usally the amount of time you sleep).  If your cranny protects less base it on half your cranny protection until you reach lv20 cranny.

Catapults are first priority when It comes to building troops. Infantry second there crops consumtion VS resources carried is much better than cavs. Cavs have little battle value until you have high speed.

Top priority's for techs.

At first use coins to upgrade techs. As soon as you can farm forts sell resources to make money for techs.

Shooting tech is most important by far.

Marching, planting , and scouting would be next.

Invest all your stat points in speed until it is maxed out. If in battle with a person with the same shooting tech the faster person strikes first. If you have a high attack but are slower than your eneimy you will never get your hit in to use that extra attacking power.

Also note that there are no push notices for attacks in pvp so hidden attack loses it's value. Cranny breaker and healing are better options.

Days 4-15

At this point you can start upgrading other resources and barracks more. Keep working on main building until atleast lv 18-20. You will now need the extra people to keep selling resources for techs and treasures.

Keep building your army. You don't need a huge army to do well in PVP. Just need smart fights. You will want at least 1500 catapults for farming forts. Start small but the higher lv forts have less competition so the faster you get your army ready the better you will be as far as finding forts with good resources to farm.

Be smart. Pick safe fights. If you go in a fight with someone and they out range you withdraw. It's better than losing your army and prestige. You can tell based off the field lenght.

From here on out your it's all winning fights. If your not winning fights you won't make it real far.

Save enough coins for withdrawing form battle in needed.

This guide can help you get a strong start. In the end it will come down to winning fights but this will give you are great place to begin.
