================
GETTING STARTED
In the first days especially you will have bad lags, but keep at it. Keep re-logging in to keep your upgrades going. A head start means everything.
You will start off with 300 coins. You will not bring any coins back to main unless you purchase or win them, so spend these wisely!
The first thing you need to do is build up your main! You will run out of workers the fastest in the beginning so don’t waste your people on a lot of other stuff.
VIP or not? Since PVP goes for 15 days, wait until day 2 for max benefit. On day 2 when the timer says 14 days left, add it then. Or if you want the edge up front, only do 1 week then take a break in the middle before renewing VIP for one more week. Your choice. 3 upgrade slots can exhaust workers fast so again, be careful here if you do it.
Next is warehouse. Don’t stop until it holds 20k. Now you can buy resources with coin. Keep building warehouse, you will always need this.
When building you can use coin to speed, especially on main and warehouse until they're about level 11, but don’t bother speeding if you’re out of people (pointless). If not out, this can help you upgrade again faster. This is why you must not exhaust people by upgrading other things until your main gets bigger.
After that work on maxing your cranny. If you get farmed you won't lose anything.
TASKS! Complete them as your warehouse allows. Don’t waste anything, wait for capacity before accepting rewards.

Warehouse
1 of each resource
Barracks
Cranny
1 troop
Hunt with1 troop
Occupy lvl0 oasis with 1 troop
Research trap then build one
When you've almost run out of resource, collect a reward hopefully by now you've got a warehouse that can store 2k res reward.
Upgrade main and warehouse only and use coins to speed up. More so on main so it can produce more people.
Speed up main upgrade with coins
Buy/collect rewards for resources
Wait till ppl builds up to up main then repeat till main is at lvl10+
DAILY GIFT! Don’t forget to get it, EVERY day.
Once your warehouse is big enough, start spending coins to buy small quantities of resources so you can start building. Also, it’s cheap and fast to upgrade resources in your town, so do that as people allow. But don’t waste people on this unless your main is very big by now.
Finish maxing cranny now if not done yet. After day 3, people can start farming you so you will want this high by then.
From here you will decide if you’re going to buy coins and be a spender, or not and be a coin saver. You’ll also decide on if you’re going to be an Attacker or a Defender. Now you can decide what techs to train, and what equipment to buy.
Spend days 2 and 3 upgrading your cranny/barracks/crop and traps while building troops.
Don’t be stupid – Don’t act like a noob.
Remember that PVP is very fast paced! Hunt your troops, hunt your troops, hunt your troops!
Set your timer for when attacks or farming troops arrive and ALWAYS COMMAND! It’s very important because unexpected traps, turrets, or troops could wipe out your whole army in less than one forgotten minute. Never forget this. Always set your timer, even if you think “Oh, it’s only 5 minutes; I won’t forget.” We all know that it happens – you’ll get busy or your boss will come by and you’ll forget. SET YOUR TIMER! Don’t fail to command.
You will NOT get an attack alert in PVP so always remember when your troops are done building. Use your timer! Hunt your troops! Losing PP will set you back drastically.
================
TROOPS
It’s time to start building! Inf and cats are good to start. Later you may prefer cav and cat once you can support them.
Note that training troops in PvP only gives half the PP it does in regular server mode.
Building PP is also reduced.
================
TECHS
Scouting is a must. If people can see your crop is in a negative flow, they will know you have a large army. So don’t let them see. Hide the food!
Marching speed
Shooting
Turrets are deadly at level 9 and 10. But this is expensive. If you are being a saver you might want to just build traps. But even small turrets can kill farmers quickly, gaining you free PP.
You need at least two levels higher shooting tech on your cat than they have on their turrets in order to come close to winning.
Cat army: max shooting (range advantage) Attack, marching.
Chances of success are lower chance if you warp with cats; people are very alert in pvp.
Cav army: max attack and defense. Enhance to max horse and manual. Easy warp people. Higher chance of success when warping with cav.
Focus on defense (for when you attack cats).
Speed only until you reach 100, then attack.
================
SKILL POINTS
Max break cranny then heal/hidden. If you have coins to spare, train hidden for the first week then reset it to break cranny. Later on in the game, for warpers hidden is not as critical. Later in the game also you will try to starve people so max break cranny comes in handy.
If you're a defender only you can try making traps and upgrading Convince.
But you will probably still want break cranny to farm non-playing towns in a few days.
================
SUBS
If you're a defender and cost saver, try to build your sub in south area, outside of boundary, so people can't warp you. They can't move there. Also make sure to build it near a fort so you can farm.
For attacking players, don't build sub near your main - people can easily find your sub to steal. So make it far away.
As far as upgrades at your sub, just focus on main, warehouse, cranny, and crop.
Name the city the same. Pinners get confused if all you cities names are same. Should have at least three cities with med to high crop production. Spread troops among the cities before going to sleep.
================
OASIS
As soon as you can, occupy oasis, but NOT crop. Obvious crop means obvious troops. You will get cropped. If you choose to get crop oasis anyway, always know how long your troops can survive without oasis and check game before then in case of being cropped. Players will warp so even hiding the food far away won’t help this; they would just warp to your town to hit it.
Without crop oasis and using saver mode, you might want to aim for 2k cats or less, no more.
================
MAKING MONEY
It takes a lot of money to upgrade techs and buy resources! And it’s not smart to buy money with coin. And you can’t farm or occupy a fort immediately, so resources is where the money’s at, at this point.
You only get 2000 money when buying with coin! Instead, use coin to buy resources, then sell them. Watch the market for what’s selling the highest at the time then buy that with your coin, and sell it at lowest current market value for fast cash.
Don’t waste your time trying to buy and sell a lot of small resources off the market. This isn't worth the time. But you CAN make some bucks buying large resources for cheap - then sell smaller quantities for higher, which others can afford.
Just don't waste all your cash at the market. Spend carefully; this is your tech money. You will just need to buy yourself some res with coin to build enough army to get you started fort farming.
If you watch the market, prices will go up and down all day. Even if market value is low, you can sell higher then go to bed – by the time you wake up things well sell because the values changed that fast.
Now you will have resources because guess what? You get to keep the leftovers! Buying low and selling high, you can make your money back and still have resources that basically cost you no money.
Just don’t spend all your cash yet to buy more resource off the market unless you can buy something for really really cheap. You'll be stuck with no money before you know it.
================
EQUIPMENT
Wait until second or third day for equipment. Do not do trade with equipments to get cash. Use the money you earned from resources to buy equip and save your coins for other use.
================
BATTLES
Come out of protection asap. Should start killing right away. Even warpers, stay put and kill everyone near first.
Learn the block technique.
Crop people later in the first week. Scout constantly.
Cropping: check people with many crop oasis. If the city has negative crop count even before cropping that's the ideal target. If positive, wait a couple more days until he builds more troops. Crop at night.
During the first week crop right away since most people have low cranny and low crop count. But from the second week farm first to drop the crop count first, then crop. When you crop someone, the crop count drops as you take crop oasis down. So starving is much faster.
When attacking, always check the field length. If opponent has level 9 or 10 turrets, it will show 1300 or 1350.
If you get attacked and can’t take them on yourself, help out a mate! Let them know when the attack will land, where it’s from, and how much army. If they can warp to the attack this will work. But if the attacker is too boxed in, it is too hard though to make a timed attack to them this way.
================
TIPS
Try being nice to other players. Stealing a sub is strongly discouraged. If you anger another player they will spend their time cropping and pinning you and other dirty play. Only do this if you are very strong and want to bring on trouble, on purpose. If they pin all your subs, and you are a warp player, you lose all advantage. If you treat them nice, they might even help you by the end! They could share with you tips, money if they quit, etc. You never know who you might end up playing with when on PVP so think before you act. :)
Join a great alliance and always help your team mates.
If you can’t take a hit, tell your AC. They will appreciate it!
If you drop out of PVP, give your team mates a boost. Give away things you don’t need, or just be there to support them. They will love you for it!
If others drop out of PVP, maybe they will give YOU a boost. You will love them for it! See how this works?
When you start off, you could max out attack to give you the edge. With this you could have 680 cats to farm level 3 and 4 forts with no problems, even with no equipment! Now, later in the game, reset your skill points and max out speed instead. Now you will still have the winning edge!
================
FARMING
After about a week, it is pretty safe to say that the level 0 players are not in it to win it and are safe to farm. Beware of traps and turrets no one may have cleared yet if you farm levels 2 and up especially. Either send a scout to check, or just send in your troops and pause them in case of walls – no harm done. Be very wary of letting your cats shoot out their turrets! Without max tech, you can be overpowered easily!
Are you a defender? Take a clue from this and build up turrets on your own wall. You can easily win PP from other players this way. Bait them by leaving out just a few troops and let them come to you. Hunt the troops before battle begins.
Even if you wipe someone, be nice and gracious. They might end up helping you in the end.
================
THE FINAL DAYS
The market prices will go crazy in the last couple of days! Don't plan on buying if you can help it! But you can sell for good cash though. Also some people will be selling top level equipment cheap by the end to make more money. If you were defender early on and never bought equip, but have money now, you could get it cheap.
"The End Is Near!"
Will you make it to a winning rank? Gauge yourself. Look at the prize list, 864 people will win something. 363 and up will win coins. Check the total PP of the person at that rank and subtract yours to see how far you have to go!
Spend all your money on resources before the last few days get here if you can't farm so you can build as much as you can. You could easily hit the bottom rank as a defender only, no attacks, no buying coins.
If you give up, ask how you can help a neighbor or alliance mate.

HELPERS
Want to be an alliance helper? If you know up front you won't be sticking around, you can max your warehouse and let someone nearby from your server know they can farm you. But if you'll be around, just not playing actively, or just want to be there to boost strong or struggling active players, you can be a huge help as a Helper.
First sell your enh stones. Now watch the market like a hawk and snag 5k nuggets others are selling. You can sell them for more, easily. Nuggets are a hot commodity and are cheap at min price so they're easy to snag.
Then you can save up and move on to bigger things.
Also look for top level equipment early on. People’s alts will be selling this for min! If you have at least 15k you can make big bucks fast here.
If you end up with lots of nuggets you can try to sell them to alliance mates but these are hard because others will be doing the same! So instead it's safer to earn money and buy something from them at max to give them funds you earned from selling stuff. Then they can afford to buy their own. You can also supply techs money this way.
Max only your warehouse and main, and then cranny. You can move resources later, too.
If you can buy resources cheaply and sell them to alliance mates for min, they will be very thankful!
You can buy equipment with your coins and either sell it for cash, or sell it at min to alliance mates. Horse, manual, sword, armor.
*Tip for item refresh at market:
-Once you select item like horse level 15, you can just press the 5th icon, the gem, to refresh.
-Always tell buyer: Say go then head to market. Don’t go until they say go! When they do go, be sure to give them a moment to get their market up before you list. Others are refreshing too and it’s no guarantee you will have success.
If you log in to help out later on in the week 1 or during week 2 you can help other alliance mates pin other towns. Just let it be known that you're there to help if needed. You can send a single cat with no equipment on, and maximize your attack time to pin. ;)
